The Northern Counties DIY Ultra Series was born out of an idea that 4 friends living in their respective counties host each other on a run of around 35-50 miles around their local area. The counties being North Yorkshire, Northumberland, Tyne & Wear and County Durham.
These routes were so good not to share, we decided to put them together into a mini challenge. You must be self sufficient, but there are plenty of places where crew or drop bags can be left. These are identified on the route descriptions available as PDF’s in the files section or on the website. PLEASE respect the countryside and clear up after yourselves. We will keep a spreadsheet maintained of finishers and their times.
